Pueblo assault victim dies of injuries

PUEBLO - A man beaten and left unconcious in the Safeway parking lot on W.29th St. died from his injuries Thursday morning, according to the Pueblo Police Department.  Michael Flavin, 46, had been in critical condition since the beating on Sunday, January 20.  Flavin was found in the parking lot the next day.

Pueblo Police are looking for a Hispanic man 5'11" to 6', weighing around 170 lbs, with a thin mustache.

The suspect's vehicle is a blue or gray station wagon.  Police aren't sure of the make or model.  The vehicle exited the Safeway parking lot and turned north on Elizabeth.

Surveillance video captured the station wagon leaving the scene.
