The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce is asking businesses and citizens for ideas to improve the Academy Blvd. corridor.

The meeting will happen August 23 at 4 p.m. at Delta Solutions and Strategies at 1625 S. Murray Blvd, Suite 100, in Colorado Springs.

Plans will focus on the area from Drennan to Maizeland. It's a six mile stretch of road with a population of more than 60,000 who live or work nearby.

Citizens and business interests along the corridor are encouraged to participate in the community discussion involving existing corridor characteristics, a model for future land use alternatives, transportation/transit options and plans to support revitalization of the corridor and adjacent areas.
