Protests continue in Venezuela

In Venezuela, government supporters and opposition supporters staged rival protests.

President-elect Nicolas Maduro's backers used fireworks to light up the night sky while supporters of opposition leader, Henrique Capriles, banged pots and pans to attract attention.

Protests erupted in Venezuela Monday after acting President Nicolas Maduro was declared the winner of Sunday's presidential election.

Maduro's margin of victory was narrow and the opposition rejected the results demanding a recount.
