There have been several well-publicized cases of rattlesnake bites in southern Colorado in the past month. All victims are out of the hospital and recovering.
If you're interested in learning more about rattlesnakes and how to protect yourself, a naturalist at Cheyenne Mountain State Park will hold a program with information on how to protect yourself.
It's this Saturday, Aug. 7, at 7:00 p.m. Meet at the amphitheater.
Cheyenne Mountain State Park is on Highway 115, across from Fort Carson's Gate 1.
