The U.S. Department of Agriculture is changing the production forecast for Colorado corn this year after hail damage and dry conditions in some parts of the state.
They are predicting corn yield to be down 13 percent from last year.
Colorado sorghum, and sugar beet production is predicted to decrease as well.
But, summer potato production is up for this year.
