STERLING, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado Department of Corrections has ordered a lock-down at a northeast Colorado prison after about 40 inmates got involved in a fight.
One staff member was sent to the hospital for minor injuries, and several inmates were treated for injuries at the Sterling Correctional Facility.
Spokeswoman Katherine Sanguinetti says the disturbance occurred Wednesday morning. She says the department is still trying to determine what caused the disturbance.
