TODAY: Another nice afternoon on the way. We'll have periods of high clouds moving through the area during the morning and early afternoon. High temps will be back into the 60's and 70's across southeastern Colorado...66 in the Springs and 71 in Pueblo. Warmest temps to today will be in Trinidad, Canon City and Denver...mid 70's in all three locations.
TONIGHT: A combination of a little bit of a breeze at times and partly cloudy skies will help keep overnight low temps much milder.
THURSDAY: Tomorrow will be a really lovely day and the warmest day of the next seven! Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with high temps in the lower 70's in Colorado Springs...mid 70's in Canon City and Ft. Carson. Pueblo, La Junta and Lamar will be near 80! A storm system will approach from the west, so during the afternoon you might notice a little bit of a breeze during the afternoon.
THURSDAY NIGHT: That Pacific storm starts spreading moisture into the mountains, so we'll likely see rain and snow across the Continental Divide and areas to the west. After midnight or later we could also start seeing a few showers in places like Cripple Creek and Divide!
FRIDAY: More clouds, cooler temps and good chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. 30% chance for almost all of us at the lower elevations. 40-50% chance over the mountains and higher elevations...and for our friends out near La Junta, Lamar and Springfield. High temps will be about 13-15 degrees cooler than Thursday...only 61 in the Springs and 65 in Pueblo. Temps in Teller and northern El Paso County will only be in the 50's. Chances for thundershowers are best in the Springs and Pueblo between about 10 AM an 5 PM.
SATURDAY: It will be a bit breezy at times during the day as that Pacific storm system exits the region. Temps warm about 5-7 degrees compared to Friday under mostly sunny skies.
SUNDAY-TUESDAY: Expect and quiet several days will plenty of sunshine and dry skies. It might be a degree or two degree cooler compared to Saturday. Monday and Tuesday temps will be just about perfect...right around 70 in the Springs and middle 70's in Pueblo.
