President Barack Obama attended two fundraising events in Denver for U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet Thursday.

Obama praised Bennet during his visit Thursday, calling him an "agent of change" who knows how to make the private sector work. Bennet is facing a primary challenge from former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff.

Protesters upset with Obama's policies on medical marijuana, Wall Street reform, health care and his support for Bennet said they feel betrayed by the president and can no longer support some of his policies.

Obama headed to Las Vegas to stump for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid at a private, million-dollar fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee.
