ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - The Powerball jackpot is expected to grow to an estimated $123 million for Saturday after no one matched all six of the numbers in the midweek drawing.
The winning numbers Wednesday were 34, 38, 39, 45 and 50. The Powerball was 33 and the Power Play was 2.
Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $104 million jackpot. A Power Play ticket sold in New York matched the first five numbers only to win $1 million.
Colorado's top prize was $200 each for 22 Power Play tickets that matched other number combinations.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001. It's now played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
