Power restored in Northeast Colorado Springs

The power is back on in Northeast Colorado Springs after a car hit a transformer near Woodman and Austin Bluffs. About 1,500 people were without power and heat for about two hours in these bitter temperatures.

The power returned around 7 p.m.
