Power restored in north Colorado Springs

Update: Power has been completely restored.

Colorado Springs Utilities confirms a power outage due to an underground cable which was severed at Copper Center.
The outage affects about 700 customers -- potentially thousands of people. Work crews hope to have the power restored by 2 p.m. Copper Center is on Voyager Parkway near the Classical Academy.
No District 20 schools are affected.
