Nine Schriever personnel fell ill after a potentially hazardous material incident Tuesday at about 10 a.m.
Several of the workers experienced throat irritation. They were checked on site; nine were sent to Memorial Hospital for observation. They have since been released.
Building 300 was cleared of any potential hazardous materials around 4:30 p.m. Normal operations are now back in effect for Building 300.
"People are our most valuable resource," said Col. Wayne Monteith, 50th Space Wing commander, adding that, "we appreciate everyone's patience as we worked to ensure their safety."
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
