DENVER (AP) - A 25-year-old Fort Collins man faces possible murder charges in the stabbing death of his older brother.

Police Sgt. Kristy Volesky said in a news release that Bryce David Evans was arrested Friday afternoon and was held for investigation of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his 28-year-old brother, Andrew Evans, in the heart. The Larimer County Coroner's Office says Andrew Evans has since died, and the death has been ruled a homicide.

The coroner's report does not say whether he died Friday or Saturday.
