Possible I-70 delays for maintenance, utility work

Maintenance and utility work could cause delays on Interstate 70 in the Colorado mountains this week.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says drivers through the Eisenhower Tunnel might encounter single-lane closures for sweeping and curb cleaning from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday.
Single lane-closures also are expected as Xcel Energy installs utilities along the highway between Silverthorne and Bakerville through July.
Conduit installation near Silver Plume is scheduled to close shoulders between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
