Autopsy results will give Colorado Springs Police a clearer picture into how a 2-year-old girl died. She was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning, after an emergency call from the home said she wasn't breathing and she wasn't conscious. All day and into the night Saturday, neighbors saw police cars parked in front of the home on Marion Drive, near Palmer Park Boulevard and Circle Drive. They learned Sunday a two-year-old girl died.
"You always hate to have that happen in your neighborhood," states David Peters.
Peters and other neighbors tell News First 5, family members kept to themselves.
"For an investigation, sometimes it takes days or weeks in order to get the information that's necessary," says Lt. Patricia Feese.
Family members were not home when News First 5 tried to contact them. Police have not release the toddler's name.
