Police: shooting death was not home invasion

Colorado Springs Police are now saying that a shooting death Thursday night did not involve a home invasion.

CSPD Sgt. Steve Noblitt said, "Investigators believe that the man and woman who reside at the house were inside when two men entered the house with the consent of the male resident. An altercation occurred between the male resident and the two men who had come inside. During the altercation, shots were fired and one of the men who had come into the home was hit. He died at the house. The second man who had come into the house fled the area in a truck with a woman. That truck was located a short time later by officers in the area of South Nevada Avenue and Cimarron Street."

Ryan Santistevan,19 and Felicia Cruz, 22 were both arrested.

The shooting happened int he 300 block of E. Las Vegas St. The name of the man who died has not been released.
