Police seek victims after child pornography bust

A Pueblo man faces charges for his alleged involvement in an international child pornography network. On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced 72 people were charged for possession and distribution of images of sexually abused children, some just infants. Pueblo police weren't involved in that investigation, but they're now looking for possible victims in our area.

Scott Lewandowski, who lives on Pueblo's south side according to county records, was arrested as part of the bust. Sources tell News First 5 he was the head of security at the Target store on Dillon Dr.

We asked Pueblo police if it's possible local children were hurt and or photographed. "There definitely possibly could be victims," said Capt. Dayton Robinson, with the Pueblo Police Department.

"If we have victims in the Pueblo viewing area and they feel they need to come forward, we wholly suggest that they do contact law enforcement," said Capt. Robinson. "(We'll) definitely follow up on it, because these people are a parasite on our society and they need to be dealt with."
