Police seek a suspect involved in firing a weapon from moving vehicle

At approximately 2:30 am Sunday, Colorado Springs Police responded to the 7 Eleven at 3306 E. Fountain Blvd. Officers met with a witness who reported that he had been in an altercation with an unidentified suspect in a dark colored vehicle. According to the witness the passenger of the vehicle displayed a hand gun pointing it at him.
Approximately 20 minutes later reports were called in of a dark colored vehicle driving on the Martin Luther King By-Pass near I-25 with a person in the vehicle firing a gun out of the sunroof.
Police are asking for any information that may lead to the arrest of those involved in the dangerous activity call 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-7867.
