Colorado Springs Police continue to look for leads in the case of a missing mother. Earlier today, officers searched the home of Deborah Ann Heriford on Maroon Bells Avenue near Vickers and Academy. They also towed away her car.

The 51 year old was last heard from on Thursday and didn't show up for work on Friday. She's a crossing guard in the Academy D-20 School District. Family members reported her missing to police.

Police tell News First 5, the family went through her home and found only her keys, dog, and cell phone missing. Her house was locked and her car was in the garage. The dog, a Westie named "Happy", was found a few blocks from her home unharmed and is now with family members.

Police are now going through the house to see if there are any signs of what happened to Heriford. Police say the family plans to pass out fliers in the area.

Heriford is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have information about her disappearance, call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
