Police say drunk man drove truck off bridge

Pueblo Police say a man was arrested for DUI after he drove his truck off a bridge. It happened around 12:30 this morning on the E. 8th St. in Pueblo.
Officers say it appears the driver hit the curb, slammed into the side of the bridge, hit a pole railing and then fell into Fountain creek. Firefighters and rescue crews used thermal imaging devices to search the area for the driver but no on was found.
Robert Lee Huckabay, 36, the owner of the truck later called 911 to report a carjacking, but police say his story didn't add up. Police think he was drunk and drove off the bridge.
Huckabay was arrested for DUI, careless driving, hit and run and failing to notify police of an accident. Huckabay booked into the county jail.
