Police: Neighbor almost hit with bullet while walking outside

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Police say a victim was almost struck by a bullet after a suspect discharged a gun along Academy Boulevard on Saturday night. 

Twenty-four year-old, Jeremiah Arbuckle, was under the influence of a controlled substance when holding the gun. The gun discharged. The bullet went into a neighbor's window and it almost hit the resident. The neighbor was walking outside, next to the window. An on-call judge granted a search warrant. They found multiple guns. 

Arbuckle was arrested and charged with attempting to influence a public servant, possession of weapons by a previous offender, illegal discharge of a firearm, and prohibited use of weapons. Twenty-five year-old, Elizabeth Haynes, was also arrested and charged with attempting to influence a public servant.
