On Sunday, after midnight, Colorado Springs Police Officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of the Bank of The Broadmoor, on South Tejon Street. When police arrived they discovered an adult male victim, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, lying in the parking lot. The male victim was transported to an area hospital via ambulance where he is listed in critical condition.

Members of the Violent Crimes Investigations unit responded to assist. The police have came up with one possible suspect description, and that is a light skinned black male, 6'1", with a possible dread lock hairstyle. The only other information given was that the suspect apparently left the area of the shooting on foot.

Anyone with information in regards to this shooting incident is encouraged to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000 or they can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
