Police investigating carjacking

Colorado Springs Police are investigating a carjacking that took place in the 2900 block of Galley Road. A man allegedly pulled a gun and forced the driver out of a car.
Police got a description of the vehicle, spotted it and gave chase near Platte and Murray.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle; however it failed to stop. Officers pursued the vehicle until it went into a field at Fountain Blvd and Aeroplaza Dr. where the suspect got out of the vehicle and was arrested.
33-year-old Brett Harris was taken into custody.
