Police investigate suspicious package at bank

COLORADO SPRINGS- Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department bomb squad are investigating a suspicious package left outside of the Wells Fargo Bank at Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway.
Bank customer Joe Quintana noticed the box in red wrapping paper as he went inside to cash a check shortly after 12:00 p.m. Friday.
As a former contractor in Iraq, Quintana says he immediately notified the bank teller.
The bank and a nearby Taco Bell restaurant have been evacuated while the investigation is underway
