Police investigate possible hate crime

Pueblo Police are investigating a possible hate crime that happened in the parking lot of Dutch Clark Stadium on November 5. A freshman from Pueblo West High School reported he heard an ethnic slur and turned to see who said it when someone hit him in the face. This happened after a South and Pueblo West football game.
He received a concussion.
Pueblo Police Captain Dayton Robinson confirms the victim is black. He said a Student Resource Officer from South as well as a detective are trying to figure out who is responsible.
