Police find meth, heroin, and guns during traffic stop

PUEBLO- Three men are behind bars after police found a stash of drugs and guns during a routine traffic stop.

Early Wednesday morning, Pueblo police pulled over a car for speeding near Hwy 50 and Wills Blvd in Pueblo. It was then that police discovered more than $3,000 in cash, and significant amounts of meth, heroin, and prescription drugs.

Along with the drugs, police also found three guns including an Uzi that was reported stolen out of Kansas.

Among the men arrested is Johnny Luna, 39, who is known to have local street gang ties. Steven Luna, 22, and Leonard Lovato 24 were also booked into the Pueblo County Jail.

The three men will face charges including possession with the intent to distribute, and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Luna also had a $10,000 warrant for his arrest.
