Colorado Springs police made eight arrests in an area they say that has seen increased prostitution activity.

This was in the Knob Hill area, specifically around Bijou and Bonfoy.

Police say they conducted a "Prostitute/John detail" around 2 p.m. Friday after complaints about the problem, according to the police report. Members of the Metro Vice, Narcotics, Intelligence Unit and the Special Enforcement Unit handled the investigation.

Police say a small amount of marijuana was also seized.
