Colorado Springs Police broke up a huge fight at a downtown bar right before closing Sunday morning. The Police Department sent 22 units to break up the fight. Police tell News First 5 the fight involved at least 100 people both inside and outside of Syn Nightclub on Pikes Peak Avenue.

This nightclub has had a number of violent incidents in and around the building over the past few months. It was known as "13 Pure" until January. Some of the incidents include a stabbing, shootings, and gun possession.

Officers used pepper spray to break up the crowd Sunday morning. Seven people went to the hospital. Six of those people injured worked at the nightclub. Police tell us the other person had several cuts on his face and body, as if hit with a broken bottle.

Syn nightclub's liquor license is under review by the city's liquor board. Police say the nightclub served three underage people.
