Police: 16-year-old charged with Attempted Murder after pulling a gun on Safeway employees

Update: The 16-year-old was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Accessory to Attempted First Degree Murder and Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile. A 14-year-old by was charged with Accessory to Attempted First Degree Murder and Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile. A third juvenile in custody was released.

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Police said a 16-year-old boy pulled a firearm, threatened staff in a Safeway and a gun was fired as he and two other juveniles left the area, when they told him that he was no longer welcome on the property. 

In the past, the suspect had committed crimes at the Safeway on Circle Drive, police said.

The suspect and the two other juveniles are also in custody. 

No one was hurt in the incident.
