GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - The former 7th Judicial District attorney is scheduled in court for a hearing where he's expected to enter a plea.

Police arrested Myrl Serra in September 2010 on suspicion of unlawful sexual contact with force, criminal extortion, indecent exposure and official misconduct. His trial is scheduled for Oct. 31.

The Daily Sentinel reports a judge scheduled Wednesday's hearing after a telephone conference between
Serra's defense attorneys and prosecutors.

Allegations against include cornering a female worker inside his office in April 2010, grabbing her breast and forcing her to touch his genitals.

A jury last month convicted Serra of harassment and violating his bail conditions. He voluntarily turned himself to jail shortly after his conviction.
