Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms have developed across southern Colorado Saturday afternoon. The chance for rain will remain in the forecast through the evening. The best chance for seeing rain will be along and southeast of a line from Lamar to Trinidad.
Overnight skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy. Temperatures will drop to the 40°s. (Colorado Springs: 44° | Pueblo: 46°)
An upper-level low pressure system will continue to move east across Mexico, New Mexico and Texas. Until the low has passed the region, we will keep a chance of rain in the forecast. However, the chance for any given location will remain relatively low. We're looking at a 15% chance for a shower or thunderstorm for Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Cañon City and Woodland Park. A slightly higher chance for places like La Junta, Lamar, Trinidad and Springfield where there is a 30% chance.
Highs will be in the 60°s and 70°s. (Colorado Springs: 66° | Pueblo: 70°) - Meteorologist John Dissauer
