NASA has awarded over 212 million dollars to Sierra Nevada Corporation to build the next generation of space transportation. The corporation has a plant in Louisville, Colorado and will feature it's ''Dream Chaser Space System'' for orbital shuttles. It's all part of NASA's effort to include private companies in space exploration to make it cheaper. Other companies awarded contracts are BOEING and SPACEX. American astronauts will have to continue hitching a ride to the Inernational Space Station with Russia, as testing will take more than two years.
