Plane diverted to DIA after man tries to open exit door

A United Airlines flight was diverted to DIA this evening after a passenger tried to open an exit door mid-flight. United Flight 223 from Dulles was heading to Las Vegas when it was diverted around 4:45 p.m. That's when authorities say the man tried to open the door. The plane safely landed in Denver just after 5 tonight. The suspect was escorted off the plane by Denver Police, and is being questioned by the FBI. We'll bring you more information as we get it.
