Plan on a hot weekend

An isolated thunderstorm is possible mainly over the Pikes Peak region until 8 pm,  then mostly clear skies. Hotter temperatures over the weekend with dry skies most areas. A stray pm thunderstorm could pop up over the Pikes Peak region, but most of the storms will be over the higher elevations. Next week will be hot and dry, afternoon temperatures will be running 7 to 10 degrees hotter than average.
