Pitkin County officials are warning rafters, kayakers and drivers about fallen trees and rock slides after rainy weather.

Officials said Sunday a tree fell across the full width of the Roaring Fork River, making it hazard to river runners. It was removed later in the day. Two Rivers Road in Pitkin County reopened after small rock sides blocked traffic on Saturday, but officials cautioned drivers to be alert for more slides.

Other county roads were closed in Larimer and Weld Counties. A flood warning has been issued for west-central Weld County until Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says the Cache La Poudre River is expected to cause extensive lowland flooding between Windsor and Greeley.
