Pit bulls as service dogs in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (AP) - Pit bulls will likely be allowed as service dogs in Aurora following a campaign by a Vietnam veteran to keep his dog. Allen Grider Sr. fought Aurora's ban on pit bulls as pets because he uses a pit bull service dog to help with his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. A City Council committee has suggested the full council agree next year to allow the dogs that help people with disabilities.
