Pine Creek advances to second round of 4A playoffs

Pine Creek quarterback Kris Kentera scored on a beautiful 56 yard touchdown run to key the Eagles 35-21 win over Castle View in the opening round of the 4A state high school playoffs Friday night at District 20 Stadium in Colorado Springs. Pine Creek advances to the second round of the playoffs and will host Valor Christian next week.
The other Southern Colorado Schools were not quite as fortunate as Pine Creek. Here are Friday's results for games involving local teams:
