Peyton Manning's second start with the Denver Broncos looked much different than his first. Facing Atlanta on the road, Manning threw three interceptions on Denver's first three possessions. The Broncos wound up losing 27-21.
Manning, the NFL's only four-time MVP, completed 24-of-37 passes for 241 yards and one touchdown. The three interceptions dropped his passer rating to 58.5.
The Broncos got a big boost from running back Willis McGahee, who finished with 113 yards on 22 carries. McGahee scored on a pair of short touchdown runs in the fourth quarter as Manning tried to lead Denver back from a 20-point deficit.
Dropping to 1-1 on the season, the Broncos return home to host the Houston Texans on Sunday.
