People of South Fork allowed back home

Those living in South Fork are being allowed to return home.

But it's not without warning from the Rio Grande Sheriff's Office; they warn those with homes in the area that there is still an active fire danger. All those returning home are responsible for their own safety.

The fire is still dangerous. The area is still in pre-evacuation status and could be asked to evacuate again.

There is a re-entry information form for people living in South Fork that is available at the Red Cross Shelters and the South Fork Visitor Center.
