UPDATE: Shooting near Pentagon

Two Pentagon police officers were shot Thursday night at a Pentagon subway station. The officers returned fire, hitting the suspect.
The injuries to the officers are said to be non-life threatening. The alleged shooter is said to be in critical condition. The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old John Patrick Bedell.
All entrances to the Pentagon were shut down until everything was deemed safe. The incident is under investigation.
