Pedestrian struck by vehicle

A man has been transported to the hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Academy Blvd. and Academy Park Loop. Officials say the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. Police are still in the process of determining exactly what happened; they say there was a delay in getting statements from the people involved since a translator had to be called in. Next to the cones in the photo are a pair of shoes that were apparently knocked off the victim. Sent from my iPhone, pardon the typos.
