Rocco Piganell of Pueblo is among the roughly 3,000 living Pearl Harbor survivors. During a ceremony today he recalled the chaos he witnessed on Dec. 7, 1941. "You could see those planes flying around, bombs dropping, people running around, horns blowing. It was just helter-skelter, pell-mell," said Piganell.
On this 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, Piganell's memory of that day is still vivid. "We were all nervous you know, what's going to happen next... pins and needles," said Piganell.
