The cold weather has forced Major Mandolin to cancel all the outdoor activities associated with his annual New Year's Eve Ball at the Antlers Hilton in Colorado Springs.

All indoors activities are going on as planned.

Major Mandolin says the plan was for an outdoor band and, instead of a ball drop, three to five hot air balloons were going to lift off to ring in the New Year. He says that's been rescheduled for the third weekend in June. Major Mandolin is hoping the weather won't be a damper on that party.
