Arrest affidavit claims a Colorado Dept. of Corrections parole officer in Colorado Springs had sex with a parolee. The alleged victim says she and Parole Officer Richard Riley, 45, had sex twice, once in June 2008, and again in January or Febuary of 2009.
According to the arrest affidavit, the alleged victim says she was "afraid to refuse to have sex with Mr. Riley because he was her parole officer; and the other reason was because she felt flattered by his compliments on her appearance..."
The second time they had sex was in January or February of 2009, the victim couldn;t recall an exact date. Then 6 months later, on July 4th, she showed up at Memorial Hospital. The court record's been redacted so it's unclear what condition she suffered, but it does state the condition was the "result of emotional guilt she'd been experiencing since she had sexual intercourse" with Riley.
The victim also told police that Riley told her another parole officer in his officer had been fired for having sex with a parolee. Department of Corrections confirms a Parole Officer's employment was terminated in 2008 for sexual misconduct.
