Most downtown parking meters in Colorado Springs now have a two-hour limit. More than 100 meters between Cascade and Nevada and from Colorado to Boulder now allow longer parking times. All told, 95 percent of the meters in the downtown core will allow up to two hours of parking time.
"This change will make parking more convenient and will allow citizens extra time to spend dining and shopping in beautiful Downtown Colorado Springs," says Mayor Steve Bach.
Some meters will have shorter parking times at the request of banks, convenience stores and the Post Office.
