Parents of missing boys appear in court

The parents of two boys missing for years, appeared in court in Colorado Springs this morning.

Edward Bryant was advised by a judge that he's facing 13 charges, including theft, forgery and submitting a false instrument for recording.  He will next appear in court on June 17.

His wife Linda faces 148 charges including forgery and attempting to influenced a public servant.  She will be back in court on April 12.

They are believed to have collected nearly $175,000 in welfare benefits for the missing boys over a period of years.

The family lived near Monument but moved to Texas several years ago.  One of the boys was last seen in 2001, the other in 2003.  The Bryants have claimed the boys ran away.
