GLENDALE, Colo. (AP) - Sarah Palin is coming to Colorado to speak at fundraiser for military families whose relatives have died in combat.
The Denver Post reported Saturday that Palin will speak May 2 for the nonprofit Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation in an event that will include a concert and other speakers that will be announced later.
The former Alaska governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate will be the keynote speaker for the event aimed at raising money for military families planning a grief camp for children whose relatives have died while serving in the military.
The event called the Patriots & Warriors Gala will take place at the Infinity Parks Events Center in Glendale, Colo. Tickets can be purchased at the foundation's website.
