Pacific storm weakens

Patricia has weakened to a remnant low, a day after prompting officials in Mexico's Los Cabos resorts to close schools and ready emergency shelters.
The system has maximum sustained winds near 30 mph and is expected to weaken and dissipate in the next day or two.
The storm weakened to a tropical depression as it approached Mexico's Los Cabos resorts late Tuesday.
A hotel general manager says it's hoped things will be back to normal Wednesday or Thursday.
