SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The Pac-12 has signed three former star athletes from the conference to be on-air personalities on its new network.
Pac-12 Networks announced Wednesday that Ronnie Lott, Rick Neuheisel and Summer Sanders will be among the talent on the network when it launches in August.
Lott is a former star football player at Southern California who went on to have a Hall of Fame career in the NFL. Neuheisel is a former Rose Bowl-winning quarterback at UCLA who later coached at Colorado, Washington and UCLA. Sanders won six individual swimming titles at Stanford and is a two-time Olympic gold medal winner.
Networks head Lydia Murphy-Stephans says the three have a deep passion and understanding of the history of the conference.
