Overnight apartment fire displaces two families

Two families have been displaced after a fire broke out, overnight around 2:30 a.m., at their apartment on Ericson Drive, just south of Colorado Springs.
Fire crews say one unit in a four-plex caught fire, another was smoke damaged. Everyone was able to escape the building unharmed.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
